Macbeth

The colour scheme we were given for the historical design was red, black and white and we were all given a specific time period to design for. The time period I was given was 1760. I wanted the costume to look very grand but also very broken down. I have added laser cutting around the bottom of the train, to look like the train has been worn down by age.

For my historical design I wanted  to set the scene where the actor who plays Macbeth is entering an Asylum in the 1930s. He has just finished portraying Macbeth in a play on stage set in 1760 and the character has taken him over. He sees a lady in the common room and imagines her as Lady Macbeth. What he sees her wearing in his imagination is completely different to what she is wearing.
