Punch

Punch is a short Independent horror film written and directed by Ross Scott.  The film depicts a man cycling in the woods, where he comes across an abandoned puppet theatre, where art imitates life. 

 

I collaborated with Charmaine Gilbert on the project who made the props and the puppet heads.  I prepared the patterns, sourced the materials and constructed the costumes for the puppets, which were replicas of costumes (apart from the cyclist) which were hired from the Scottish Opera. I also designed and constructed the curtains for the puppet theatre as well as sourcing the material and preparing the pattern.
